Hi, sorry didn't see (please ping next time). MatrixBot replaces the top and bottom of old AfDs with {{Afd top/old}} and {{Afd bottom/old}} thereby making them dark mode compatible and WCAG compliant. The task was approved after a community RfC on the matter which gave consensus. On another note, please could you lower the protection of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BeritaSatu TV Medan for a similar reason (maybe extendedconfirmed?) —Matrix _{ping me}^{when u reply} (t? - c) 19:05, 1 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Matrix: I've checked my protection log, and found that there were 4 more AfDs that I'd indef fully protected, all but one of them many years ago. @Wikishovel: My sincere apologies. It was intended to be not a telling off, but an explanation of my reasons for asking for more information, which I thought would help to clarify my reasons for you. Evidently I misjudged how to express my thoughts, and produced an impression very different from what I intended. I did in fact edit the first draft of my message, because on re-reading it before saving I thought it might read like a telling off, but it seems I still got it wrong. I can absolutely see that you work hard at what you do, and I have a great admiration for your work, so the last thing I would wish to do is to tell you off for what you do. I am moderately on the autism spectrum, and although I work hard at trying to express myself in ways that will not give neurotypical people misleading impressions about what I am trying to say, sometimes I fail to do so.
