[edit]Hi there, thank you for all the good work you're doing with translating articles! I see you've also properly attributed them via edit summaries as per WP:TFOLWP, which is great. I just wanted to flag that you may also optionally wish to use Template:Translated page on the talk pages of such articles to give further details. Thanks for translating the article, this is definitely a notable topic. I've marked it as needing more citations since there are several unsourced paragraphs and details I couldn't check in the text. Also- thank you for including translation attribution, but I think maybe you meant it was translated from the German article? I couldn't find this subject on French wikipedia. Thanks again for making this and happy editing,

Ways to improve Thierry Thuillier
[edit]Hello, Cmdrjameson,
Thank you for creating Thierry Thuillier.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
No information about his activities from 2017 to present (it's now October 2025) so maybe warrants an update
The article needs sections for example : "Early life and education," "Career," "TF1 (1990-1994)," "France 2 (1994-2008)," "I>Télé/CNews (2008-2010)," "Return to France Télévisions (2010-2015)," "Canal+ (2015-2016)," "TF1 Group and LCI (2016-present)" You can use your judgement. Everything is in one continuous block of text, making it hard to navigate
The opening sentence in the lead section about being "deputy director of LCI since 2016" is immediately contradicted by later text saying he became general director in 2016. Also The infobox says he worked at Canal+ from June 2015 to September 2019, but the text only mentions 2015-2016. There are issues with the dates not aligning.
No "Personal life" section (married? children? hobbies?), also no discussion of his journalistic style or approach and limited information about the impact of his work or his influence on French television journalism makes me question notability.
Some references lack complete information (e.g., reference 4 just says "Le Monde, 28 August 2007" which points to Le Monde wikipedia article?)
Lastly, while generally neutral, but phrases like "struggling news channel" could be more encyclopedic

Ways to improve Partir un jour
[edit]Hello, Cmdrjameson,
Thank you for creating Partir un jour.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Thanks for creating the article. There are two issues
The Synopsis and Songs sections are entirely unsourced. Please add sources to fulfil Verifiability (WP:V)
The claim about Cannes Film Festival is a significant claim that needs a source, per WP:BLP and WP:V.

Ways to improve Roland Faure
[edit]Hello, Cmdrjameson,
Thank you for creating Roland Faure.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
The section on Publications is currently unsourced.
The Biography section should be expanded into flowing, narrative prose, detailing the significance of his roles. For example, mention that his tenure at Radio France coincided with deregulation and the creation of a major news format (France Info), or elaborate on his early career at L'Aurore and his early journalism awards (which are not currently mentioned in the English article).
Several facts that confirm his notability (according to search results) are missing: his educational background (Faculty of Law, Aix-en-Provence), and his professional awards (Meilleur jeune journaliste de France in 1950, Prix international du grand reportage in 1962).
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Noxoug1}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
