The source used said that he was average for not entering in a war, this is rare, a president is not more memorable for enter in a war. Johnymin (talk) 17:48, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's pretty typical to ignore people who were only there on an acting basis when listing who their predecessor/successor was. meamemg (talk) 14:06, 31 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The fourth paragraph of his summary twice states that Cleveland beat him in 1892, which seems unnecessary. I would suggest that the final sentence is removed and the part about him being the only president succeeded by his predecessor is merged into the earlier sentence about the election. 2A00:23C6:ABDB:E901:9502:8385:A06B:6EC6 (talk) 19:24, 29 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Note "a" currently states "Although he was the ninth Benjamin Harrison in his family, Harrison is known simply as Benjamin Harrison, rather than Benjamin Harrison IX". Previously it referred to eighth and VIII. However, there doesn't appear to be any citation supporting either. Doing a quick web search, I have found references to a Benjamin Harrison VIII and a Benjamin Harrison IX, but neither of them correspond the the subject of this article. Is there any reliable source for either numbering for this man? If not, I think we should remove the note since it even states that he is known without any numbering.
