Protactinium triiodide is an inorganic chemical compound with the chemical formula PaI3.[1][2]
Synthesis
[edit]The compound can be obtained from PaI5 by heating at 350-380 °C in a continuously pumping vacuum.[3][4]
Physical properties
[edit]PaI3 forms a dark brown solid.[3] The compound has a PaBr3 crystal structure.[3]
