Jan Aqa (Persian: جان اقا)[a] is a village in Ajorluy-ye Gharbi Rural District[4] of Nokhtalu District in Baruq County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 273 in 66 households, when it was in Baruq District[b] of Miandoab County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 234 people in 62 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 237 people in 77 households.[2]
In 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Baruq County and renamed the Central District. The rural district was transferred to the new Nokhtalu District.[5]
