The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are mobile phones made by Apple. They are the ones successor of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. These phones were introduced at an Apple event nicknamed “Wonderlust” in September 2023. They were announced on September 12, 2023. They were released on September 22, 2023. They are now discontinued, now that the IPhone 16 Pro has been released.[7] On 2025, Apple brings iPhone 15 Pro to European Apple Store.[8][9]

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max comes in the four colors: Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium.[10] The biggest change in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is the USB-C port because of EU new law that are required to have a USB-C port, which replaces the Lightning connector.[11]

These pro models works USB Type-C 3.0 which is industry standard now.[12] iPhone 15 Pro has Nano-SIM and e-SIM works, LTPO Super Retina XDR AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate, 48 MP rear camera, 12 MP selfie camera which can record up to 4K 60fps, and Face ID for security.[13][14]

Software

They used iOS 17 for the first time. They can upgrade to the other versions like iOS 18 and iOS 26 when came out.[15] The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are the first iPhones to use the Apple Intelligence because they have a Apple A17 Pro, 8GB RAM and running at least iOS 18.1 as requirement.[16] Apple will give 5 years of security updates to follow the United Kingdom's Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Act laws.[17]

The base model of the iPhone 15 Pro has 256GB storage memory and 8GB of RAM. If costs $999.[18] It became available starting on 22 September, 2023.[19]
