But you go on and on...
| Rank | Article | Class | Views | Image | Notes/about |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ed Gein | 2,605,127 | We finish off a whole month with this serial killer at the top spot. The Netflix show about him (#23) shows the true and disgusting parts of this story like grave-robbing and creating objects out of human skin, but makes up a lot of stuff. Even the promotional images have one such thing, with Gein wielding a chainsaw solely because he was an influence in creating Leatherface. | ||
| 2 | Daniel Naroditsky | 1,286,094 | Naroditsky was an American chess grandmaster who attained the title at the age of 17, and is a specialist in fast chess. He also posted educational chess content on his YouTube channel, was a popular chess streamer on Twitch, and has authored two books. For more than a year, Naroditsky was one of several players accused by former world champion Vladimir Kramnik of cheating in online chess, without substantial evidence, a claim that Naroditsky rejected. Naroditsky was found dead in his home on October 19, with police not suspecting foul play. In the aftermath, the International Chess Federation announced it will investigate Kramnik's campaign. | ||

| 5 | 6-7 (meme) | 1,059,763 | This is the fifth week that this meme's page popularized by Skrilla's song has made the report. One can only guess that many people are still trying to figure out its meaning. | ||

| 7 | Killing of Ajike Owens | 977,683 | In June 2023 in Ocala, Florida, Owens was shot and killed by her neighbor, Susan Lorincz, while attempting to talk to Lorincz on her front porch. There had been ongoing racial disputes between the respective ladies' children and, at times, themselves. Lorincz was convicted of manslaughter by firearm (according to authorities, Florida's stand-your-ground law did not apply here) and sentenced to ten years imprisonment. The case was made into a documentary (#12), now playing on Netflix. | ||
| 8 | Kantara: Chapter 1 | 936,472 | The highest-grossing Indian film of the year, an epic mythological action film revolving around an ancestral conflict in pre-colonial coastal Karnataka, that in the original movie is still raging in the 1970s and 1990s. | ||
| 9 | Virginia Giuffre | 879,206 | Nobody's Girl, the memoir of this American and Australian advocate of sexual trafficking survivors, who died by suicide in April this year, was published on October 21. In the book, Giuffre described the abuse at the hand of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and also alleged sexual encounters with men including Prince Andrew and a "well-known prime minister". Days before the publication of the book, Prince Andrew announced he will no longer use his titles and honors, with the exception of "prince"; the Metropolitan Police also announced an investigation into claims the prince had instructed one of his taxpayer-funded bodyguards to investigate Giuffre and find compromising material. | ||
| 10 | Sam Rivers (bassist) | 785,587 | After meeting Fred Durst in Jacksonville, this musician helped form Limp Bizkit, to which he brought his drummer friend John Otto - both were eclipsed by the ever-controversial Durst and peculiar guitarist Wes Borland, but were considered a serviceable rhythm section even if the band's music was derided. Already having a history of alcoholism that led to a liver transplant, Rivers died at 48 of a cardiac arrest. | ||
| 11 | Thamma | 781,339 | The fifth installment in the MHCU was released theatrically on October 21. The film follows Ayushmann Khurrana as a journalist who is saved from a bear attack by a mysterious woman, only to become involved with an ancient race of vampires. Yes, it's a romantic comedy. | ||

Along with shock at how easily it was to steal from the most visited museum in the world, jokes emerged that the cast of the Ocean's or Now You See Me film series were involved. | ||
| 14 | Dude (2025 film) | 699,007 | Kollywood released this romantic comedy starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, that is doing well at the box office in spite of negative reviews. | ||
| 15 | East Wing | 671,962 | During the monologue that got him suspended, Jimmy Kimmel joked that Trump speaking a lot about the planned White House State Ballroom after Charlie Kirk died meant "He's at the fourth stage of grief: construction." Even if Trump said that the already existing White House wouldn't be touched, the entire East Wing started being demolished this week, leading to much criticism and questioning, specially as it went through without review by the National Capital Planning Commission, which oversees federal construction. | ||
| 16 | Shohei Ohtani | 647,177 | He should be higher on the list (maybe next week?), because the National League Championship MVP helped his Los Angeles Dodgers reach the World Series (he's even on the cover of the program). The defending champion Dodgers are in a much contest best-of-seven game series with the Toronto Blue Jays. | ||
| 17 | Zohran Mamdani | 604,353 | The Democratic Party nominee for the 2025 New York City mayoral election took part in the final televised debate alongside the Republican Party nominee Curtis Sliwa (#25) and former Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo, who is running as an independent after being upset by Mamdani in the Democratic Party primary. The three men each outlined their strategy with dealing with crime, public transportation, the economy, the housing shortage, education, ICE, and Donald Trump. The three men also spent a good amount of the debate attacking each other, with Sliwa and Cuomo both arguing the 34-year-old Mamdani lacks qualifications and experience. At one point, Mamdani revealed that one of the women who accused Cuomo of sexual harassment is in the audience, drawing gasps. Polls ahead of the November 4 election date show a comfortable lead for Mamdani. | ||

In October 2025, Martin suffered "mental health challenges", according to his family, and illegally entered his neighbor's home in a disoriented state on October 18. Police arrived to detain him, and he became unresponsive after a struggle. He later died in an Oakland, California hospital. | ||
| 25 | Curtis Sliwa | 496,803 | The Republican Party nominee for the 2025 New York City mayoral election is polling at third place, behind #17 and the independent candidate Andrew Cuomo. Sliwa has rejected calls for him to drop out of the race to give Cuomo a better chance against Mamdani, including from Cuomo himself, Donald Trump, and billionaires who Sliwa said had offered to pay him to drop out. |
