Create a page for Albania on Tigre Wiki

[edit]

@Wikiman2230 Hi dear Wikiman2230! I am from Albania and I have a request. I have seen that you edit the Tigre Wiki: https://tig.m.wikipedia.org

I want to ask you please can you create a page for Albania: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albania on Tigre Wiki with short content. (not Tigrinya as on Tigrinya Wiki the page for Albania exists)

Then add the page to its corresponding Wikidata page:

https://wikidata.org/wiki/Q222#sitelinks-wikipedia

I would thank you so much if you will create it.

Thanks SevanDaver (talk) 20:46, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there!
For some reason, i couldn't make a page on that wiki. I honestly don't know why. It should've shown a red link but it didn't. Very weird. I am sorry i couldn't make it :(

Cut and paste moves

[edit]

Please ensure you do not cut and paste content from one article or draft page to another. This creates a copyright violation as all content must be attributed to the author who wrote the content. See WP:ARTICLECOPY. In this case you cut Draft:Viewstats and pasted it to Viewstats. Such moves are not allowed as the history does not follow the move.-- Ponyobons mots 22:16, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am very sorry. I thought it would be ok since the submission was declined. I promise to not do it again
Thank you Wikiman2230 (talk) 22:36, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If the darft was declined then it's even more inappropriate to just cut and paste it to article space as the reviewers had concerns regarding the draft meeting Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.-- Ponyobons mots 23:03, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I promise not to do it again Wikiman2230 (talk) 23:04, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:David Baszucki are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. Waqfeyat Misr Foundation moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Waqfeyat Misr Foundation. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Haj (talk) 23:43, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

So why did you request for a speedy deletion? Idk887621 (talk) 23:45, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It's standard policy to delete the mainspace article when it is moved to drafts, not leaving a redirect. The draft page still exists, and the mainspace name is deleted until the article can be moved back into the mainspace. Your page (the draft) is still preserved as-is in the meantime. Haj (talk) 23:51, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. So I can still work on it for a bit? And also, do I need more sources or nah? Idk887621 (talk) 23:52, 5 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you can still continue to work on it and improve on it. The main reason I sent it to a draft is two of the citations are primary sources (the organization's writing about itself). While you can use primary sources, they should also be supported by an independent source when possible.
Typically, three independent sources are needed to establish notability—newspapers, journals, etc. You can check WP:GNG for the main criteria that are needed—independent, reliable, and significant (not just a passing mention). If you have any other questions, I'm happy to help to the best of my ability. There's also the teahouse for perhaps a broader reach in finding people who can assist if I'm unable. Haj (talk) 00:03, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What are some sources that I can use? Because the only other sources I saw were its Facebook page, which isn't really reliable. Idk887621 (talk) 00:06, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You are correct about Facebook, I avoid it for use in articles. As for what sources you could use, I'm not familiar with Arabic, so my own searches are limited to only English. Arabic sources can be used as long as they fit the criteria I mentioned previously. There are WikiProjects such as WikiProject Arab world or WikiProject Egypt who may be able on their talk pages. I can't guarantee success, but the more eyes looking at it, the better.
I do seem to find more results for Marwa El Daly, so there's a chance an article about her may be a little easier to start with. If you want to keep working at it or start something new, I always create a draft page or use a personal sandbox (User:Wikiman2230/Sandbox) to build an article before publishing it. Haj (talk) 00:27, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds interesting. Could you tell me the sources for the owner? I might make an article on it instead! Idk887621 (talk) 01:53, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There's possibly more, but that may be a start. I usually start articles I write with maybe a few sources, and by the time I'm done, I end up finding resources that help me discover more. It can be a snowball effect once you find a new source. Haj (talk) 02:19, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alrighty Thanks! You're one of the nicest people I met! Idk887621 (talk) 02:20, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate that. :) It can feel like an uphill battle to start. There's some guides out there to help new editors get started, like WP:CTW. It may be a good thing to bookmark and read as you get time. Haj (talk) 03:04, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alright! Im gonna make the article later today! Idk887621 (talk) 16:09, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Found this page (WP:BACKWARDS) last night which hopefully summarizes some of what I was trying to say. (I tend to stumble over my own words sometimes.) Haj (talk) 16:16, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You're genuinely one of the nicest people i have ever met. I made an article on Jandel, and it got nominated for deletion. In the deletion discussion, they said the article had 'poor grammar' which made me sad because now I feel like i shouldn't be on Wikipedia at all. Idk887621 (talk) 16:19, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Grammar can be cleaned up, some of my first articles (long ago) were messes and were deleted. "Perfect is the enemy of good." Consider WP:MENTOR if you think having a guiding hand could help until you're more comfortable. And if you want to take a step back, read, and learn more before contributing further, I understand that as well. I just hope it doesn't discourage you, because we always need more editors. At the end of the day, his entire place is built upon collaboration and working towards improving what we have and what we don't have yet. Haj (talk) 16:28, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. Also, I am apart of a project Thats determined to make articles that don't exist yet. Hence the reason on why I made the foundation article in the first place. I understand that it doesn't have any credible sources, so I will (moving forward) try to get more reliable sources! Idk887621 (talk) 16:31, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"None" short descriptions

[edit]

You added the short description "2025 nation-wide Indonesian demonstrations" to the article August 2025 Indonesian protests, which was previously set to "none", in this edit. I believe that this article should not have a short description under its current article title. See WP:SDNONE: All articles should have a short description, but some article titles are sufficiently self-explanatory to English language speakers worldwide that a descriptive annotation would not be helpful. Such articles can be given the short description "none". A short description should never be the same as the article's title. If the primary purposes of a short description are entirely met by the title wording, that is a good indication that "none" would be appropriate.

Here is why I want it to be "none" instead:

1. "2025" is already repeated in the current title more specifically as "August 2025".

2. "nation-wide" is implied by the title using the demonym "Indonesian" in the article title. This is due to article scope. An article titled "2025 Asian protests" would not have the scope just be for a protest in a small neighborhood in Jakarta, for instance.

3. "Indonesian" is repeated in the article title.

4. "demonstrations" is repeated using a synonym "protests". Protest Wikipedia article: A protest (also called a demonstration, remonstration, or remonstrance) is a public act of objection, disapproval or dissent against political advantage. (my bold)

In short: This short description is just repeating the article title.

It is fine. I know you are new to Wikipedia. But this is something to keep in mind for later. This does not mean that short descriptions should never repeat the title just a little bit. But don't repeat the whole title. For example; List of Star Trek: Voyager episodes has the short description "Episodes of American TV show", which just repeats the word "episodes". This is a good short description. - Sebbog13 (talk) 00:23, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Makes sense. Thank you for notifying me. I promise to not copy and paste in short descriptions. Thank you Idk887621 (talk) 00:24, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits

[edit]

Information icon Hello! I noticed you made an edit at North America and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typos or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. — W.andrea (talk) 01:02, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption, a special set of rules apply to anyone editing in this topic area. Specifically, only extended confirmed editors are allowed to make direct edits and page creations to this topic area. If you think this page does not fall under the general sanctions described, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

It's OK to make mistakes at first, just make sure you try to check the guidelines before you add something. You can always ask at the Wikipedia:Teahouse if you're unsure about anything at all. The relevant guideline here is WP:NFCC, which explains when you can use content that isn't explicitly marked as free (i.e. licensed with a creative commons license or another free license). For living people, it is almost never acceptable to use a non-free image. Katzrockso (talk) 02:00, 4 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Inanimate Insanity (November 6)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Hekatlys was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of web content). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Oh, I do have one question.

[edit]

I'm not exactly sure what it's called, but those episode lists that most shows have, for example the one in List of Battle For Dream Island episodes, could you add that to BURNER and LOTS? I can fill out the info, don't worry. LOTS and BURNER clearly aren't notable enough to have their own episode article, since BFDI's is being considered to be deleted, but I've checked some shows (for example, the amazing digital circus) and they have episode lists inside of them so it should be okay. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 21:55, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I can try. Do you mean in the infobox? Wikiman2230 (talk) 21:57, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If the info box is referring to the thing you added to the beginning of LOTS and BURNER, then no it's not that, it's that list with all the episodes, for example look at List of Battle For Dream Island episodes and it's that thing that each episode is in. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:00, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The list is called Tables. It easy to do actually. Wikiman2230 (talk) 22:01, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you mean. Ill go ahead and do that! Wikiman2230 (talk) 22:02, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, okay. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:03, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Just add a heading at the end titled "Episodes" then put the tables under it. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:03, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Done! Wikiman2230 (talk) 22:04, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but add it to LOTS too, please. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:10, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It's not showing on my screen. It still says that it was last updated by me, a couple minutes ago. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:18, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Which draft was it? Wikiman2230 (talk) 22:19, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see why. I made the draft for "Love Of The S*n" a few days ago, but then I realized the show was actually "Love of the S*n". I looked at your contributions and you put it onto the wrong one. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:21, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I realized that as well. I put it in the right one.. hopefully Wikiman2230 (talk) 22:22, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, also I forgot to mention that LOTS 1 was split into three parts (1A, 1B, and 1C) so is that gonna be a problem since it's marked as 3 separate episodes on the list? RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:26, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No not really. Some people might merge it, but i like to split it up. Wikiman2230 (talk) 22:26, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. Thanks for all the help! I'll ask you in here if I need help/info on anything else. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:28, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Michael Huang (animator)
I need more sources really Wikiman2230 (talk) 22:25, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, two questions. Firstly, will I or should I have a table for the voice actors, or should I just keep them in that paragraph? And secondly, how do I add notes? By notes, I mean those [A] and [B] and so on, I want to add one noting that S*n is pronounced as Sun or Son, and one that episode 1 was split into three parts in LOTS, and for BURNER I'd like to add one that in discord, Sacri stated they don't know if they plan to continue BURNER and they're still deciding whether to cancel it or continue it. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 22:37, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
For question one: u think it's better to make a bulletin point list with the voice actors and who they voice
For question two: Go to insert > templates > search up efn and click the first one > fill out the notes > drag it to wherever you want your note to be > make a heading and name it "Notes" > go to templates again > search up notelist > click on publish once you got it > drag it under your heading
Thats it! Wikiman2230 (talk) 23:22, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also for the cancellation thing, I don't think you need a note for that. I think it can just go within the developments section Wikiman2230 (talk) 23:26, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I did all of that. Also, both of my notes in LOTS are [A]. Is it meant to be like that, or should it be [A] and [B]? Secondly, is there a way to insert images into Wikipedia? I want to add ones to the info lists in BURNER and LOTS, however there's no images of them on Wikipedia. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 00:41, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Q1: It is supposed to say [a] and [b] but idk why they are both [a]
Q2: You can upload images through Wikimedia Commons. On the homepage click on Upload > select an image > pick a license (THE MOST TRICKIEST PART) > name your image and add a caption > click publish and your done! Be careful of licensing as your image can get deleted for having a wrong license Wikiman2230 (talk) 00:45, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Wikimedia Commons is a different app/website, right? Would you mind uploading the images for me if that's the case? I'd prefer if you just did the logos, so the ending of 'the LOTS intro and the ending of the BURNER intro, or I guess whatever works for you. On Wikimedia, there are categories for images. And sadly there isn't one for LOTS :/ Wikiman2230 (talk) 01:41, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh… does that imply that there's one for BURNER? RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 01:44, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Same for BURNER. There isn't a category for BURNER unfortunately :( Wikiman2230 (talk) 01:46, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, in that case should I just not add images then? RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 01:52, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I notice BFDI has some images, wouldn't BURNER and LOTS fit under the same category as BFDI? RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 01:53, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No Wikiman2230 (talk) 02:01, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 02:05, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, could you add an external links section to BURNER and LOTS that has the channels Sacri (SacriStuff) and Malues linked? I'm not sure how to do it. Or, you can just tell me how to do it and I'll add them to it myself. Either works! RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 19:23, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
To add external links:
First go and make a heading and name it "External Links" > Type in what you want in a bullet point list > Select one of your text within the list > do CTRL + K > Click on "External Website" > Put in your URL > Click done > Do the same for the other one > Now save your changes and your done! Wikiman2230 (talk) 19:26, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm on mobile, could you add it? I don't have any computers. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 19:30, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I might do it later. But I will definitely help out at some point. Sorry for that! Wikiman2230 (talk) 19:31, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! And if you have extra time, you can add the links to the channels to the list of object show hosts, the channels of each object show mentioned. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 19:35, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting idea. Wikiman2230 (talk) 19:36, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for adding the info box and episode table to HfjONE, tho could you add it to my main page? Like the page where my other three drafts are. RandomSillyGuy9 (talk) 23:03, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
