[edit]

Hey there, I moved Template:Test temp to your own userspace at User:Tester6462656543/Test temp, a more proper place to test templates. It seems like you did so for a test – please do so in your own userspace. You can still use the same way you can use a normal template. Thank you! You can find some information about creating templates at Help:Template and mw:Help:Template, as well as in the pages linked at the bottom. @~2025-31838-26: Yes, 'indefinitely' means forever. No, it does not. Indefinite means that there's no fixed duration; an indefinitely blocked user can later be unblocked. See Wikipedia:Blocking policy § Indefinite blocks. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 12:34, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Just because I can't edit other pages does not mean I should not be able to edit MY OWN pages. I only have 101 edits. I am just getting started. @Vitorperrut555 is correct this is not helpful. Tester6462656543 18:53, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No, when you are indefinitely blocked you are only able to edit your talk page, in order to allow you to have an appeal. Wikipedia is not a free webhost that allows you to do what you want, if you aren't being productive for the project your ability to edit can get limited. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 18:57, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No, indef is not forever. It is until you meet the unblock conditions presented by Yamla and adequately address the reasons for your being blocked. Here is the link to the thread at ANI that led to your being blocked. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:03, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is first and foremost an encyclopedia, and the project's main focus is building it. Wikipedia is not a place to test edits or to fool around. Since none of your edits have been to contribute to the encyclopedia, and since all of your edits have either been spamming other people's talk pages, creating inappropriate test pages, or a nonsensical "thanking" page, I have blocked you accordingly to prevent further disruption. If you would like to be unblocked, please explain in detail what precisely you intend to work on that will be of benefit to Wikipedia. You may see Help:Introduction if you're out of ideas, but "testing" is not of benefit to us. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 04:24, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am just getting started and I will help other pages after. Tester6462656543 19:03, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance if you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate and confirm that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia.

After you have read the rules, pick any article on Wikipedia that you want to improve. If you have trouble choosing an article, there are lists under Category:Articles needing cleanup.

Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:

  1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
  2. Copy three or four paragraphs of the article that you want to improve.
    • Do not copy the infobox (...).
    • Do not copy any images or files ().
    • Do not copy the article's categories from the bottom of the page ().
    • Do not copy the stub tag (Topic name stub).
  3. Click edit on your talk page and create a new section using this format: == Article title ==. Paste the text that you copied underneath. Do not save yet.
  4. Place reflist-talk at the end of the copied text.
  5. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and create an edit summary in the following format: Copied content from Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution.
  6. Save the page by clicking Publish changes.
  7. Edit the section you have copied. Propose adding new information to the article. Add inline citations to reliable sources that verifies the information. We are not looking for basic typo corrections or small additions without citations.
  8. When you are done with your work, save your edits. Then create a new unblock request using and an administrator will review your proposed edits.

If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may ask a question on this talk page. Just place Help me with your question below it, then add your signature using ~~~~. Thank you. Yamla (talk) 19:04, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

how do i edit it if i am blocked from editing? -Tester6462656543 21:27, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

ahh, makes sense now. also, I have a thanking page because I want my default page clean. if you have a problem with it I can req for del. Tester6462656543 21:37, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You cannot request for the article to be deleted because you are blocked, but I can G7 it, do you want the page deleted? --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 21:39, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
only if @K6ka wants it. I only made it so my default page is clean. Tester6462656543 21:45, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Tester6462656543, please just focus on contributing to the project. You can start doing that by following the instructions Yamla provided. You fundamentally need to prove you are here to build an encyclopedia; not just doing unrelated tests in your userspace, or chatting with other editors. Following the instructions will allow you to prove that, and doing edits in article space will also allow you to show that. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) 22:25, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Tester6462656543 Please, remember that Wikipedia is not the place for chatting with peoples. Please, I, strongly recommend to read WP:NOT to see that Wikipedia is not a webhost or social media to make test, friends or dating to another editors. It is usually the case that English Wikipedia editors need to be good at spelling and English grammar when contributing to articles. GarethBaloney (talk) 09:18, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You must exactly follow the instructions above. Copying and pasting content from a Wikipedia page without attribution is a violation of WP:COPYRIGHT. Additionally, if your now-deleted edit included your suggested changes, there's no easy way for us to review it. You must copy the content first, properly attributed, then in a separate edit, make your suggested change. Please take your time. It's important that you exactly follow the instructions you've been given so you can avoid running into further problems. --Yamla (talk) 19:16, 8 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I compared your changes to the Minecraft article and can only find you adding the text "update verson Snapshot 25W44A - spring to life update". Pro-anti-air already advised you that Wikipedia isn't a changelog, so you did evidently did not listen to what they said. Your addition also does not cite any sources.
Remember that we are looking for more significant contributions to expand the article. The Minecraft article is already pretty well developed. You may want to look for an article that doesn't have much content right now; we call those articles "stubs", and you can find one that interests you at Category:Stub categories. Remember that Wikipedia articles need to be verifiable (information must cite a reliable source), notable (information has received enough attention from reliable sources to be worth caring about), and written in a neutral point of view (don't take sides).
If you're finding it difficult to copy article changes to your user talk page, you may want to consider copying the article to a text file on your own computer and making changes there. This will also give you the chance to make changes at your own pace. When you're ready, you can paste your final work here, making sure to give attribution in your edit summary as previously instructed.
Remember that you were blocked because none of your edits were helping to improve the encyclopedia, and you only seemed to be here to make test edits. The reason why we're asking you to do all of this to be unblocked is because we want you to demonstrate that you're actually willing and capable of being an asset to Wikipedia by helping to write or improve one of our articles. If you're finding that this isn't your jam, don't feel bad: there are many other hobbies you can try instead. If you want to wait a couple of years and come back with more maturity, you can also do that; there is no time limit for requesting an unblock, and in many cases it's often better to work on maturity (and perhaps one's writing and language proficiency skills) before making a new unblock request. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 20:09, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
