DYK for Morozova Mansion

[edit]

On 9 October 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Morozova Mansion, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a hoard of valuable artwork was hidden within the Morozova Mansion in 1917? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Morozova Mansion. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Morozova Mansion), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

disambiguation

[edit]

With regard to [1], yes, I know it's currently unnecessary :D that edit happened because I'm going through all the links in context of Talk:Nico (disambiguation)#primary topic?, to clarify the incoming links and make sure there's as little impact as possible if there's a change. If you'd be so kind to stop mass reverting, I would appreciate it. --Joy (talk) 10:07, 28 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It would help if you explained that in your edit summary. I don't see a consensus on Talk:Nico (disambiguation) for any change, so you're being premature with these edits. Masato.harada (talk) 10:18, 28 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sadly, there doesn't seem to be a facility in the DisamAssist tool to explain this further. I would have loved to be able to have it, because another person also had the same reaction as you did already.
I could find no consensus anywhere for the status quo, either. Linking the exact same topic through redirects doesn't really impact readers, so I don't quite understand what would be premature here. --Joy (talk) 10:43, 28 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
