Cornell public sculpture
[edit]Hi Hstoops! I was looking around for places where there might be editors with connections to Cornell, and noticed your name in the Cornell WikiProject with a future graduation date. a) first off, the Charli boxes on your userpage are such a slay lol. b) I was wondering if you might know where to turn for image requests of Cornell's campus/if you would ever be willing to take images of landmarks on campus for Commons. I'm trying to find a picture of an artwork on Cornell's campus by Melvin Edwards installed outside Appel Commons (here's a very low quality image from when it was installed outside the Johnson Museum). The sculpture is in the public domain because of copyright technicalities (it was installed outdoors permanently before 1978). Absolutely no worries if you aren't sure where I could ask other editors for assistance on this, I know the Cornell WP seems defunct. And absolutely no pressure to go out and take a picture of the sculpture lol, just figured I'd ask! Hope you're having a good week. 19h00s (talk) 04:21, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi! I can take pictures (I have seen the statue countless times going to eat at the Appel Commons, so it wouldn't bother me to document the work). I'll see if I can get access to a Canon camera (I don't know if the IT cage of my college is open yet) but once I have a good camera, I'll document the statue. If there are any other pictures you would want me to take tell me, I love documenting stuff. Hstoops (talk) 17:42, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you so much!! I think that's the only sculpture/monument on Cornell's campus that I'm personally looking to use a photo of in an article right now - it was Edwards' first public sculpture commission back in '69. But WikiShootMe shows a bunch of other un-photographed landmarks/buildings/etc. on campus that might be useful to document, I usually use that tool when I go somewhere new so I know what might be useful to photograph.
- I really really appreciate your willingness to document this sculpture - if you're able, it would be super useful to get images from a few angles to show the different colors/elements, but even just one higher quality image would be amazing.
- Thanks again! Have a great weekend :) 19h00s (talk) 18:12, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi again :) I hope your year has been well so far! I just wanted to see if you'd had a chance to grab a pic of this sculpture - absolutely no worries if not, and I think I saw a video recently of snowfall at Cornell so I wouldn't blame you if you're just staying inside haha. But thank you again, and I hope it's warming up there! 19h00s (talk) 17:39, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
UK flag set
[edit]These aren't as good as yours, but I'm just trying to help fill out the sets until you get to them. If you ever want to override these files with your versions, please go ahead:

- Hi, they look great! Thank you!
- I have created a subcategory to "WikiFlag Icon" called "WikiFlag Icon PNG" to separate the vector graphic files from PNGs, that way also it is easier to know which files need to be vectorized. Hstoops (talk) 03:41, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
Liberalism and Conservatism in Iran
[edit]Could you please create the relevant flag? I need the image to apply to Template:Conservatism in Iran and Template:Liberalism in Iran. ProgramT (talk) 23:42, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Besides that, it would be nice to have a dedicated flag image for liberal / conservative in Brazil, liberal / conservative in Israel, liberal / conservative / socialist in Hong Kong and liberal in South Korea templates. Colors are in reference to the local language Wikipedia. ([1][2][3] However, in the case of Israel and Hong Kong, there are no related templates in the local language Wikipedia, so I think it can be based on template color of English Wikipedia.)
- In the case of Template:Localism in Hong Kong, I would like the black Hong Kong flag on the left and the torn Hong Kong flag on the right.[4] ProgramT (talk) 00:09, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hstoops (talk) 03:00, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! ProgramT (talk) 00:45, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
- Template:Progressivism in South Korea would also be great if a dedicated flag image is created. ProgramT (talk) 07:53, 4 August 2025 (UTC)

Can you create a dedicated flag on this template?
When creating this image, apply flag of World Taiwan Congress on the left and torn flag of the Republic of China on the right. Because the traditional "Taiwan independence" (not "ROC independence") denies the Republic of China and supports the Republic of Taiwan. ProgramT (talk) 07:50, 4 August 2025 (UTC)

Request for Christian nationalism US flags
[edit]Can I request File:Christian Flag.svg crossed with the US flag, for use on Template:Christian nationalism US sidebar? CeltBrowne (talk) 17:47, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
- Probably will improve the cross in a future and override the files
- Hstoops (talk) 18:25, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry I´ll add the white, didn't know that was part of the flag lmao Hstoops (talk) 18:30, 4 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, I was going to point that out to you but you replied right at the same time CeltBrowne (talk) 20:03, 4 August 2025 (UTC)

Taiwan Conservatism Flags
[edit][5] How about changing the image a little differently? It would be nice to use KMT flag on the left and ROC flag on the right! ([6][7][8]) Because the color of the blue flag on the left in the current image is KMT blue, and KMT is very important in ROC conservatism. ProgramT (talk) 04:24, 10 August 2025 (UTC)

Australian crossed flag set
[edit]I see that there's Template:Liberalism in Australia, Template:Conservatism in Australia, Template:Socialism in Australia and Template:Far-right politics in Australia sidebars; any chance of creating a flag set for Australia? CeltBrowne (talk) 10:04, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry for late reply Hstoops (talk) 20:34, 15 September 2025 (UTC)

Hi! You seem to be good at vectorizing things (especially things used in templates), I kindly ask you if you can please vectorize the image shown in the template "Symbols of Romania"? That image is "File:Symbols of Romania.png" and for reference, I've also added the file here. Thanks in advance!!! 109.76.144.105 (talk) 19:24, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- I made it a bit more simple (removed the "Romania" as it's already implied, and leafs as they are not official). Hstoops (talk) 15:42, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- I'm back!!! It's great!!! I thought you'd add the leaves and inscription (in this case it was actually spelled "România", with a circumflex over the first "a", as the name of Romania is written in the national language Romanian). This is great too, especially the fact you decided to do the same style of image using the symbols of other countries such as France and Peru. I still wouldn't mind a version of the "Romania" image that is a an SVG replica of the original image with all the elements, including the leaves and inscription but you don't have to do it right now! Thank you very much for your great work!!!--109.79.193.194 (talk) 21:24, 18 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello!!! Here's another raster image used in a template that you can vectorize!!! Today I kindly ask you if you can please vectorize the image shown in the template "Toryism"? The image is of the symbol known as the "Royal Oak" as depicted on a plaque outside "King Charles House" in Worcester. That image is "File:Royal Oak.png" and for reference, I've also added the file here. Thanks in advance!!! --109.79.193.194 (talk) 21:37, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
