| I cannot thank you enough for that edit on Bladee, I edited his name to Benjamin Thage Dag Reichwald once or twice before and it got reverted for being unsourced -- when it's quite literally Benjamin Thage Dag Reichwald over almost every other wikimedia project mentioning him by name which in light of this made it silly. Dates in short descriptions
[edit]Hallo, Thanks for adding short descriptions to Gordon Young (artist) (on my watchlist) and many other articles.
Please note that per WP:SDDATES we are encouraged to include dates in SDs. If someone is trying to decide whether the "Gordon Young" for which they have found an article in a list is the right one, date is likely to be very useful - eg they may be looking for someone they know was active in 1852, so can instantly eliminate "British artist (born 1952)" rather than wondering whether their 1852 person was an artist as well as a poet/politician/whatever. ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
