I am an IBM Distinguished Researcher Emeritus. I work at IBM Research for 30 years, retiring at the end of 2022. Prior to that, I was a Faculty Member at University of Concepcion, Chile. I received MS and PhD degrees from UCLA, and Electrical Engineering degree from University of Concepcion, Chile.

I was a PhD student under Tomas Lang, collaborated with him in multiple publications, including two books.

I collaborated with Milos Ercegovac in a book and a few publications.
