I am a retired Professor of Mechanical Engineering. During my 40-year career, I taught Thermodynamics 25+ times and wrote a textbook, https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-19538-9. I also taught other engineering science courses, Statics, Dynamics, and Mechanics of Materials, as well as graduate courses in Asymptotic Analysis, Acoustics, and Wave Propagation, which were some areas of my research interest.

I have made contributions to several Wikipedia articles for which I have technical expertise, Van der Waals equation, Maxwell construction, and Equation of Time.
