Kristine N. Cook (born October 8, 1985) is a graduate student living in Bloomington, Indiana. Born at Camp Pendleton to a former Marine and his wife, she has lived in five states (California, Colorado, Georgia, Ohio, and Indiana) and hopes to add more to that list. She is primarily known as AffirmationChick around the Internet.

She wishes she had more time to edit the glorious Wikipedia; however, something called life often creates a speed bump for her. She graduated from California Baptist University, with a bachelor of arts in English with a concentration in creative writing in 2008 and currently attends Indiana University Bloomington to pursue a masters of library science. She is currently leaning toward a specialization in academic reference work.

She enjoys writing, reading, tinkering with computers, traveling, and listening to music. As a writer at heart, she looks at every opportunity presented as a chance to research her future writing!
