Are the soteriology templates related to religions not sufficient?
[edit]I question the relevance of this WP:NAVBOX; for instance, it seems redundant with {{Template:Christian soteriology}}. ----Telikalive (talk) 12:13, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Telikalive: - It does tread some of the same ground as the Christian soteriology navbox, but there aren't navboxes about salvation for other religions, possibly because we don't have enough articles on them? The Christianity section of this navbox is much smaller than the Christian soteriology navbox, as it seems to be widely studied within Christianity, but it seems there aren't enough articles on, say, Muslim salvation to justify a navbox dedicated to it specifically. Also, there are a number of articles (in the "key concepts" section) that are related to soteriology but not to any particular faith. WikiMacaroonsCinnamon? 20:21, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- To editor WikiMacaroons: I tend to think that we should create navboxes by following the logic of the Christian soteriology navbox, and if there are not enough articles to fill them for other religions, it may mean that "soteriology" is not the appropriate term. ----Telikalive (talk) 22:34, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
