Template talk:Pregnancy
Add topicPostpartum section
[change source]Infancy section
[change source]entry (health visitor)
[change source]in: Infants (Postpartum) -> Health visitor a possible entry. Almost the same (dupe) as midwife or registered nurse. Ref: Health visitors are registered nurses or midwives who have had additional training in public health nursing. They will support you, and your partner if you have one, from pregnancy usually until your child is 5 years old.[1] (text pasted from Tommys). { Catcus DeMeowwy (talk) | User_talk:Catcus DeMeowwy 15:59, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
The health visitor article could be created easily, using content that is already there (and adjusting it to avoid duplicate content), or worked into the article about midwifery. This would get the pregnancy template another blue link (if not I can just link it to midwife, but there really should be content/subheader - an anchor - to the part in the article about the link).

entry (monthly nurse)
[change source]- And come to think about it, the monthly nurse and childcare article. It is the same as the midwife article in the above (where the roles are slightly different). Having more entries that are red, but can be made blue, taken with other articles on the Wiki (or not on the Wiki and giving us red links) can help[discuss] to decide on whether to merge or make new articles. Even though most of the time a new article should be made and padded out with content.
- I think that "Monthly nurse" could easily reach 1K characters as an article. These talk pages are for archival, logging, discussion, and to add it to a backlog of things to do if the page does not get enough attention to be reworked in time. Also to note that a monthly nurse is not usually medically trained and are there to help the parents with early childhood raising and maybe also Adaptation to extrauterine life? However probably not

Roles section
[change source]entry (pediatrics) =
[change source]Entry pediatrics could go into "roles" section here, or in during/before childbirth. In childbirth (section), roles, there is obstetrician so roles might go there. But obvious I know not enough about the layout yet. If anyone does know, or has input about this, let me know in a reply
Entry (section)
[change source]I have put two in the Hypertensive subcat (two asterisks**) as *** Eclampsia and Pre-Eclampsia, even though the feature is in the wrong section, and the right section ((complications) during childbirth) is not there, which might be a good future addition (entry) to sections

- update (or to/do), the anatomy section (I think it is in the "during" section) there are three entries, when more could go on. (It is during, so no testes, breasts) But cervix maybe - and why not placenta? There is no infrastructure for it yet but maybe the polar body could go on en. prenatal care
[change source]The section is long and covers every disorder, disease, and deficiency in pregnancy. These pages could do with a section on pregnancy, if it is common. The links can stay for now then. However the template might lose these entries in the future because it is by far the longest section. But then if the articles have the info they are a problem again (with being removed) because they are information on the topic which is no longer being included. There could be another template for prenatal care though
sperm retrieval (assisted reproductive techniques)
[change source]Under at (MeSH) therapeutics (E02), (surgery, E04, ignored), investigative techniques (E05).
Procedures to obtain viable sperm from the male reproductive tract, including the TESTES, the EPIDIDYMIS, or the VAS DEFERENS.
This (assisted reproduction)
=== Section conception === (subtitle of topic)
Sperm retrieval. Also is useful in EDO and related to conditions like Cystic fibrosis (the infertility due to vas deferens occlusion or looping).
Tests/perinatal section
[change source]In tests section or around (during and after) sections there are other tests to add, related to vaccines.
The red links added will have their page populated with something then these other things could be added if not joined together and put in the template if/when trying to save space { Catcus DeMeowwy (talk) | User_talk:Catcus DeMeowwy 00:35, 3 October 2025 (UTC) edited { Catcus DeMeowwy (talk) | User_talk:Catcus DeMeowwy 00:42, 3 October 2025 (UTC) } en.Wikipedia has an article on the red links added at https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Intrauterine_insemination&redirect=no and on the disambig page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICI
