Undocumented parameters

What is status for? Error (talk) 17:40, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Huh. I'll be damned. Language status is just whether it is endangered, extinct, vulnerable, etc. Endangered language#Defining and measuring endangerment shows the criteria that UNESCO uses in evaluating language status. I wonder if there's a tool out there that can evaluated how many uses of the infobox use that parameter, but I'd like to see it used more extensively and develop a nice formatted presentation, something like {{taxobox}} does with conservation status. Those are for languages. Are there criteria for writing systems? --Error (talk) 00:52, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dear lord. In my defense I have the flu right now, so please ignore my mangled thought process in which I completely forgot which infobox I was talking about. VanIsaac, GHTV contWpWS 04:08, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Images and Dark Mode

[edit]

In this infobox, the image under the sample parameter is inverted and hue rotated, which makes sense for pages such as Arabic alphabet and Latin alphabet, but for pages where an actual picture is used for the sample, such as Braille or Aramaic alphabet, the image is messed up. Official script

[edit]

Should we depreciate the use of "official script" from {{Infobox writing system}}, because it is generally not needed for example, Latin, Chinese, etc. Absolutiva 09:03, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
