Related?
[edit]Davidruben Any chance of adding a "related" field? This would be similar to other-names, but would list related developments. For instance, the AMES Type 7 was related to the AMES Type 8 and Type 15. These were completely different than the Type 7, but developed for the same purpose and the 7 replaced the 8. In contrast, the Type 15 was a development of the Type 8, and therefor that would be put in other-names. Maury Markowitz (talk) 13:09, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

Height and Width
[edit]Another one... modern radars using phase array antennas don't generally have a diameter any more, but a height and width. Maury Markowitz (talk) 16:55, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

and another...
[edit]@Davidruben: And also it is not uncommon for the radar to be designed by one group and manufactured by another. It would be nice to have a designer= line. Maury Markowitz (talk) 13:19, 22 May 2018 (UTC)

Image alt parameter
[edit]It is very common on infoboxes which allow images for the image to have an alt= parameter for accessibility concerns. @Jonesey95, can you add that? — TadgStirkland401(TadgTalk-Email) 04:16, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- It is already there. I have added it to the documentation. – Jonesey95 (talk) 10:03, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- Perfect! Thanks for the quick response. I used your template (and others) as examples in creation of {{Infobox avionics}}. Thank you — TadgStirkland401(TadgTalk-Email) 17:12, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
