Documentation?
[edit]There is no explanation of when to use the template and there appears to be a fuddle of code. What do editors use? {{fix}}, {{editorializing}}, or the safesubst stuff? Or all of it? Any shortcuts? Thanks — Iadmc♫talk  02:56, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Iadmc: Just follow the documentation. In short, use
{{Editorializing|date=November 2025}}or{{Editorializing|{{subst:DATE}}}}. If you are not trying to change the template itself, you have no reason to look inside the template code. That's not where instructions are found. :-) As for when to use the template, use it when a statement in the article appears to be MOS:EDITORIALIZING. If the entire article reads like an op-ed or personal essay, then use the banner template{{Essay-like}}. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 01:06, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
