Empty string in suppress argument

When using |suppress= with empty string, the template outputs the maintenance category. Is this the intended behavior?

If empty strings are specified for the other arguments, the template will not output the maintenance category (unless an article connected to a Wikidata item uses the empty |qid=). I believe empty values in |suppress= can also be ignored. 本日晴天 (talk) 03:07, 14 September 2025 (UTC)

Thank you. By the way, it would be better to change it so that empty qid arguments are always ignored as well.
