Section version

[edit]

How about a section version? After all, this applies mostly to a specific section. Something like {{alumni|section}}. --Muhandes (talk) 16:34, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The reverse case might make sense. At the moment I invariably use this in sub-sections with embedded lists, so {{alumni|SAL}} might be good as a variation for stand alone lists. (talk) 16:57, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, so this is meant to be used at the beginning of the section, not at the top of the article? I misunderstood the text then. --Muhandes (talk) 18:29, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Other uses

[edit]

I find this template very useful, very effective when used at the beginning of the alumni section. How about Chamar, I think neither of the texts really applies, though in essence this is WP:NLIST just the same. --Muhandes (talk) 10:40, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

Since the template requests citations, might it also add to a relevant category to show that the article requires citations please? Fiddle Faddle 06:47, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

usage of this?

[edit]

There are no instructions as to when to place and not place this template?

Surely it isn't meant to be placed at every alumni list, only the problematic ones?
