| This template may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion as a userpage being used only for promotion or publicity, with a username that promotes or implies affiliation with the entity being promoted. The use of one's userpage for advertising or publicity is considered spam and is not a legitimate use of one's userspace. Furthermore, promotional usernames are forbidden by the username policy and are blocked as spam. Note that simply having a page on a company or product in one's userspace does not qualify a userpage for deletion. If a userpage is still blatantly promotional, then it may be marked with {{db-spam}} instead. See CSD G11.
If this template does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. If you created this page and you disagree with the given reason for deletion, you can click the button below and leave a message explaining why you believe it should not be deleted. This template is used to tag pages for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria, specifically CSD G11. There is a separate template for each criterion – see the table to the right.
This template places the page into the categories: Candidates for speedy deletion, and Candidates for speedy deletion as spam.
Usage
[edit]The template should be placed at the top of the page to be deleted.

- This is the most basic form of the template.

- Bot accounts will specify the
|bot=parameter to notify the reviewing admin that the page was tagged by an automated process.
Author notification

A tag has been placed on PageName, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
