This topic contains controversial issues, some of which have reached a consensus for approach and neutrality, and some of which may be disputed. This template will categorize articles into Category:Wikipedia controversial topics. To use this template, add {{Controversial-issues|date=October 2025}} to an article's talk page.

{{Criticism section}}, for use within articles that have a Controversy section that may compromise the article's overall neutrality
{{Editnotice-controversial-issues}}, for use in editnotices.
{{Controversial}}, for talk pages of articles that are in of themselves controversial, instead of merely containing controversial content
{{Ds/talk notice}} for announcing on the talk page that the article's subject is part of a topic which is under discretionary sanctions.
