Regarding "Anomalous precession of Mercury"

The solution to the problem of attraction to the former position of the Sun should not be to attract to the extrapolated instantaneous position, but rather to the average of where the Sun was seen to be (retarded position) and where it will be (advanced position) when the Sun would see the current position of the planet.
