"A quantum computer is a model of how to build a computer."

[change source]

Is this a useful statement? Is a car a model of how to build a car? Was it trying to say "Quantum computers are computers designed to exploit the power of quantum phenomena." which overlaps the second sentence. Could it be removed? Also, the statement "A theoretical model is the quantum Turing machine, also known as the universal quantum computer." could be omitted or reworded "The quantum Turing machine, also known as the universal quantum computer, is a theoretical description of a quantum computer."

I have put back a source

[change source]

I added text, some months before June.

"Creation of computer chips, that are thought to be [very helpful or] helpful for quantum computers: A computer chip, Majorana 1, has been [shown or] unveiled (2025); Those chips are made by Microsoft; Those chips are "based on a new [ Network topology, or] topological core architecture that represents a breakthrough in the field of quantum computing", according to media.[1] Majorana fermions being used in semiconductor-superconductor heterostructures, is one of the (ways or) efforts that the company is using to (do or ) realize topological quantum computing."

I did an online search for a source, because i did not want to use a newspaper source from my country (in that specific case).

The article has been improved since (or so it might seem). 'One should be fine with that'.--If admins think that the source is 'spam', then admins will now what to do. 2001:2020:309:CBE7:19C4:7799:B895:291E (talk) 04:26, 10 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

I'm comfortable in my assessment that this is spam (and thus fails WP:RS). It's a summary article by an unremarkable IT consulting company. These posts are often SEO and often written by people who have no idea what they're talking about (author here works in communications with no physics/computing background). It reads as AI-generated and is wholly uncredible. I will remove. Hiàn 03:37, 14 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
