What's a stir?
[edit]The article states the software caused a stir. What's a stir? Is that slang term for something? Shouldn't an encyclopedia article be written as dry as the United States Constitution's type of verbiage? 199.127.116.26 (talk) 07:48, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
- You can look it up in a dictionary, it means a commotion. The original article made sense to me but it might have been a British English type usage that I am familiar with, and perhaps you are not. Anyhow, I have removed the word from the article. It did seem a little theatrical and not dry. Commander Keane (talk) 04:20, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
