Mentions of "Gus"
[change source]Who on earth is "Gus?" This article makes mention of a "Gus" out of nowhere. Was he an accomplice? Friend? Relative? WHAT??? — This unsigned comment was added by 67.176.216.219 (talk • changes).
- Gus was Ed Gein's friend, I found that from researching - Not this article. It needs adding/changing. -- Kethrus |talk to me 02:38, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
- This entire article is unsourced and I added a page issue tag. This reads like a plot. I could find nothing about "Gus" even on the English Wikipedia article. So I have removed all remarks about him since we have no last name or context at all. Please add sources and especially for "unknown suspects". Thanks Fylbecatulous talk 20:55, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
PGA feedback
[change source]Looks good overall... Few notes:
- The "inspired" link in the 3rd para. goes to a disambig page.
Done - Same with "verse" and "obsessed" further down.
Done - "Odd jobs" isn't a simple/clear phrase.
Done - "He covered up this rooms..." - What does "covered up" mean in this instance? Covered with what?
Done - "On other times,..." - I think it needs to be just "other times" or "on other visits/occasions"
Done - Wikilink "Caskets"
Done - The Mary Hogan part needs a little attention. Her skull and face skin is mentioned in the long list of things found at the house. A few paragraphs after that it says "Her head was later found in his house." Basically it has it being found twice in a way.
Done - " Historian George W. Arndt said that when after Gein was arrested, many black humor movies were inspired by him." - Odd phrasing in this sentence with the "that when after" in the middle.
Done
