As per the Wikipedia Contact Us" mechanism for the subjects of articles to request correction to inaccuracies, I am writing as a paid consultant to NBC News to request the following:
The lead sentence describing the subject of this article was changed from describing her as a "American journalist" to "American political operative" [1]. The change should be reverted.
Why?
As per the "Career" section, Linzer is the managing editor of politics for NBC News and MSNBC, and has been a journalist for her entire career.
