"Voice Dictation" or "Speech to Text Dictation" is not equal to "Voice Recognition"

Voice Recognition or Speech Recognition is the technology that the software uses. It is already mentioned in the intro. On the other hand dictation or speech to text typing is a feature. This feature is similar to what Dragon NaturallySpeaking provides. Here spoken words are transcribed by the software and typed as written text . The software, transcribes the words into the active window at the location of the cursor (i.e. in any software or website which has focus).

P.S. Clarification was needed because a user changed "Voice Dictation" section to "Voice Recognition" Champsin (talk) 05:10, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to support the clarification provided. "Voice Typing" or "Speech to Text Dictation" indeed serves as a specific feature. This distinction is crucial for understanding the applications of these terms within various contexts. SmackoVector (talk) 04:27, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
