Sochaux is a commune. It is in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in the Doubs department in east France, near Montbéliard.
Economy
[change | change source]Sochaux is the site of a large industrial facility of the French car manufacturer PSA Peugeot Citroën. As of late 2005, about 16,000 people are employed there. The Peugeot automobile museum is located here.
