SF Weekly is a weekly newspaper based in San Francisco, California. The newspaper is distributed every Thursday and it is published by the San Francisco Print Media Company.[2] It has won national journalism awards and also hosts the SF Weekly Music Awards for recognition of musicians.
History
[change | change source]The newspaper was founded in the late 1970s by Christopher Hildreth and Edward Bachman. It was initially named as "San Francisco Music Calendar, the Magazine or Poster Art".[3]
