Risto

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Risto is a masculine given name, found in Finnish, Estonian and South Slavic. In South Slavic, it is a hypocorism derived from Hristofor or Hristivoje.[1]

Alternate meaning

The ancient proto-Finnic term is used to refer to the illness of one who defecates immensely and/or abnormally frequently. This state may also be induced by ingesting strong laxatives, or dangerously high amounts of fibre. It is not recommended to voluntarily enter this state, as it may last up to several weeks of constant/nonstop irritation of the bowels, in which the bowels may become extremely sensitive.[2]
