"Remember the Time" is a song by American singer and songwriter Michael Jackson. It was released as the second single from his eighth studio album Dangerous (1991) on January 14, 1992. It was written by with Teddy Riley , Tammy Lucas and Bernard Belle, with Riley and Jackson as producers. It was recorded at Record One in February 1991 , & Future Records Recording Studio of October 1991 where they finished the recording and mixing process at. The music drew comparisons from the media to "Rock with You", from Off the Wall. While mixing the album & the song in May 1991 Teddy had invited his friends & fellow BLACKstreet members Chauncey Hannibal & Joseph Stonestreet to deliver some background vocals on Remember The Time & Jam with Michael that ended being unreleased. Which is ironic since around the same time Teddy was working with Michael on this track , He was working in pre production on Bobby Brown's album with his fellow BLACKstreet co-founders Chauncey "Black" Hannibal & Joseph "Street" Stonestreet who both work as session singers, writers and background singers for the album around the same time Michael was recording Dangerous. When the single was released Jackson dedicated the song with love to Diana Ross. The music video is nine minutes long and features appearances of Eddie Murphy, Iman, and Magic Johnson in the Ancient Egypt. John Singleton directed it. In 2006 the song was released again. It reached number 2 in the Spanish chart.[4]
