Ready Player One

Ready Player One is a 2011 science fiction novel which is also the first novel of American author Ernest Cline. The story is set during a dystopian 2045. It is about Wade Watts on his search for an Easter egg in a worldwide virtual reality game.[1] The book was published on August 16, 2011.[2] An audiobook narrated by Wil Wheaton was released the same day.[3][4]

A movie version was directed by Steven Spielberg and was released on March 29, 2018.

A sequel novel, Ready Player Two, was released on November 24, 2020, however it got bad reviews.[5][6]
