Peter Watkins (29 October 1935 – 30 October 2025) was an English movie director, producer, screenwriter, documentarian, essayist and movie theorist. He was known for his docudrama and mockumentary works.[1]

Watkins died on 30 October 2025, one day after his 90th birthday.[2]
