Meramera (Melamela) is an Austronesian language of New Britain in Papua New Guinea.
Name
[edit]The name Meramera comes from the closely related Nakanai language in the Bileki dialect. In Meramera, the language is referred to as Melamela, literally meaning 'talk'.[2]
