Marc Rocco (June 19, 1962 – May 1, 2009) was an American film director, film producer and screenwriter.[1]

Marc Rocco was born Marc Daniel King in North_Hollywood, to Harvey King and Sandra Elaine Garrett. Later divorcing King, Garrett married actor Alex Rocco in 1964, who adopted Marc.[2]

Career

Marc Rocco directed several films including Scenes from the Goldmine,[3] Dream a Little Dream,[4] Where the Day Takes You, and Murder in the First.[5]

Death

On May 1, 2009, Marc Rocco died during his sleep in San Fernando Valley.[1] Rocco was 46, widowing his wife, Lisa. His body was found by a friend at a home where Rocco had been house sitting. Cause of Rocco's death was not quickly revealed by Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, but no signs of trauma or crime were reported.[6]
