Kvasiny (German: Kwasney) is a municipality and village in Rychnov nad Kněžnou District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,700 inhabitants.
History
[edit]The first written mention of Kvasiny is from 1544. The village belonged to the Skuhrov estate.[2]

Economy

Kvasiny is home to the Volkswagen Group-owned Škoda Auto factory. It has been in operation since 1934.[5]
