The San Diego Padres are an American professional baseball team based in San Diego. The Padres compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League (NL) West Division. Below are select minor league players of the Padres organization and the rosters of their minor league affiliates:

Anthony Clay Dungan (born June 2, 1996) is an American professional baseball infielder in the San Diego Padres organization.

Dungan attended Yorktown High School in Yorktown, Indiana, where he played baseball.[1] He batted .488 with 13 steals as a senior in 2015.[2] After graduating, he enrolled at Indiana State University where he played college baseball and batted .305 with nine home runs, 38 RBIs, and ten doubles over 61 starts as a senior in 2019.[3] He was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the ninth round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft.[4]

Dungan signed with the Royals and made his professional debut with the Idaho Falls Chukars with whom he was named an All-Star.[5] Over 65 games, he hit .357 with two home runs, 38 RBIs, and 19 doubles. He did not play a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season.[6] In 2021, he played with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals and slashed .288/.357/.405 with nine home runs, 56 RBIs, and 28 stolen bases over 108 games.[7] He was assigned to the Omaha Storm Chasers for the 2022 season.[8] Over 127 games, he compiled a .208/.294/.334 slash line with nine home runs, 52 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases.[9] He returned to Omaha in 2023, hitting .273 with three home runs, thirty RBIs, and 16 stolen bases over 89 games.[10]

On December 6, 2023, the San Diego Padres selected Dungan in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft.[11] He split the 2024 season between the San Antonio Missions and El Paso Chihuahuas, batting .242 with nine home runs, 71 RBIs, and 25 stolen bases over 127 games.[12] Dungan was assigned to El Paso to open the 2025 season.

Ruben Antonio Galindo Naar[13] (born January 24, 2001) is a Colombian professional baseball pitcher in the San Diego Padres organization.

Galindo signed with the San Diego Padres on July 2, 2019.[14]

Galindo represented the Colombia national baseball team in the 2023 World Baseball Classic,[15] pitching in Colombia's games against Great Britain[16] and the United States.[17] Galindo was part of the Colombia squad that won the gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Games in October 2023.[18][13]

Moisés Manuel Gómez (born August 27, 1998) is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder who is a free agent.

Gómez was signed by the Tampa Bay Rays as an international free agent on April 28, 2015, and made his professional debut with the Venezuelan Summer League Rays.[19] He spent the following year with the rookie–level Gulf Coast League Rays, posting a .220/.273/.327 batting line with one home run and 10 RBI.[20] Gómez remained in rookie ball with the Princeton Rays in 2017, batting .275/.328/.398 with five home runs, 28 RBI, and 10 stolen bases.[21]

Gómez spent the 2018 season with the Single–A Bowling Green Hot Rods, hitting .280/.328/.503 with career–highs in home runs (19) and RBI (82).[22] He played in 119 games for the High–A Charlotte Stone Crabs in 2019, slashing .220/.297/.402 with 16 home runs and 66 RBI.[23] Gómez did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[24]

Gómez returned to action in 2021 with the Double–A Montgomery Biscuits, playing in 76 games and hitting .171/.256/.309 with eight home runs and 23 RBI.[25] On October 22, 2021, Gómez asked for his release so he could play in a winter baseball league in Venezuela.[26]

On November 5, 2021, before he could begin winter play, Gómez was signed to a minor league contract by the St. Louis Cardinals. He opened the 2022 season with the Double–A Springfield Cardinals, batting .321 with 23 home runs and 54 RBI over 60 games.[27] He was promoted to the Triple–A Memphis Redbirds in late June.[28] Over 60 games with Memphis to end the season, he hit .266 with 16 home runs and 40 RBI.[29] Between both teams, he finished with a combined .294 batting average with 39 home runs and 94 RBI; his total of 39 home runs for the season led the minor leagues and he was awarded the Joe Bauman Home Run Award.[30]

On November 7, 2022, the Cardinals selected Gomez's contract to the 40-man roster, protecting him from the Rule 5 draft.[31] Gómez was optioned to Triple–A Memphis to begin the 2023 season and spent the whole season with the team.[32] Over 131 games, he batted .232 with 30 home runs and 79 RBI.[33] Gómez was designated for assignment on January 29, 2024[34] and sent outright to Triple-A Memphis on February 3.[35] In 41 games for Memphis, he batted .208/.284/.299 with three home runs and 11 RBI. Gómez was released by the Cardinals organization on July 29.[36]

On August 17, 2024, Gómez signed with the Kansas City Monarchs of the American Association of Professional Baseball.[37] In 16 games for the Monarchs, he batted .283/.303/.533 with four home runs, 14 RBI, and one stolen base.

On December 13, 2024, Gómez signed a minor league contract with the San Diego Padres.[38] He elected free agency on November 6.[39]


Jagger Haynes

Coleman Jagger Haynes (born September 20, 2002) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Diego Padres organization.

Haynes attended West Columbus High School in Cerro Gordo, North Carolina, where he played baseball.[40] He was selected by the San Diego Padres in the fifth round of the 2020 Major League Baseball draft.[41] He was the youngest pitcher selected in the draft.[42] He signed with the team for $300,000, forgoing his commitment to play college baseball at the University of North Carolina.[43]

Haynes underwent Tommy John surgery after being drafted, and made his professional debut in 2023 with the Lake Elsinore Storm.[44] He started 11 games and went 0-3 with a 3.91 ERA. Haynes played with the Fort Wayne TinCaps for the 2024 season, starting 22 games and going 2-6 with a 4.64 ERA and 114 strikeouts over 110+23 innings.[45] He was assigned to the San Antonio Missions to open the 2025 season.[46]

Isaiah Daniel Lowe (born May 7, 2003) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Diego Padres organization.

Lowe attended Combine Academy in Lincolnton, North Carolina, where he played baseball as a pitcher and third baseman.[47] He committed to play college baseball at Wake Forest University.[48] Lowe was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 11th round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft, and signed with the team for $400,000.[49]

Lowe made his professional debut in 2023 with the Arizona Complex League Padres and Lake Elsinore Storm, but appeared in only four games before undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery.[50] He returned to Lake Elsinore to open the 2024 season and was promoted to the Fort Wayne TinCaps in late July.[51] Over 24 games (twenty starts) between the two teams, Lowe went 7-6 with a 3.33 ERA and 111 strikeouts over 105+13 innings.[52] He returned to Fort Wayne to open the 2025 season.[53] He was assigned to play in the Arizona Fall League with the Peoria Javelinas after the season.[54]


Kash Mayfield

Coleman Kash Mayfield (born February 8, 2005) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Diego Padres organization.

Mayfield attended Elk City High School in Elk City, Oklahoma, where he played baseball.[55] As a senior in 2024, he went 8-0 with a 0.16 ERA and 115 strikeouts over 44 innings and was named the Gatorade Oklahoma Baseball Player of the Year, which he also won in 2023.[56] He committed to play college baseball at Oklahoma State University.[57]

Mayfield was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the first round, with the 25th overall selection, of the 2024 Major League Baseball draft.[58][59][60] On July 24, 2024, Mayfield signed with the Padres on a $3.4 million contract.[61]

Mayfield made his professional debut in 2025 with the Lake Elsinore Storm.[62]


Miguel Méndez

Miguel José Méndez (born July 1, 2002) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Méndez signed with the San Diego Padres as an international free agent in February 2021. He made his professional debut that year with the Dominican Summer League Padres. He pitched 2022 with the Arizona Complex League Padres and Fort Wayne TinCaps and 2023 with the Lake Elsinore Storm. After the 2023 season he pitched in the Arizona Fall League.

Méndez spent 2024 with Lake Elsinore and started 2025 with Lake Elsinore before being promoted to Fort Wayne and the San Antonio Missions.[63]

Kruz Schoolcraft (born April 18, 2007) is an American professional baseball pitcher and first baseman in the San Diego Padres organization.

Schoolcraft attended Sunset High School in Beaverton, Oregon.[64] He played as a pitcher and also played first base in high school.[65] As a junior in 2024, he went 10–1 with a 0.39 earned run average (ERA), and 146 strikeouts over 71+23 innings as a pitcher and hit .506 with seven home runs and 30 runs batted in (RBI).[66]

Schoolcraft entered his senior year in 2025 as a top prospect for the 2025 Major League Baseball draft.[67] He was committed to play college baseball at the University of Tennessee.[68][69] Schoolcraft was selected with the 25th overall pick in the first round of the 2025 Major League Baseball draft by the San Diego Padres.[70] Schoolcraft signed with the Padres for a $3,606,600 signing bonus on July 24, 2025.[71]
