Intervision

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Intervision (Russian: Интервидение, romanized: Intervideniye) is an international song contest, described by the organization as "more than a contest / a platform for cultural exchange, advancement of dialogue and trust across nations." [1] The most recent contest took place at the Live Arena in Novoivanovskoye near the city of Moscow, Russia, on 20 September 2025.[2] Contestants came from over twenty countries. [3] The event takes the name from and was announced as a revival of the former Intervision Song Contest, but it has a different organizer, format, and different participating countries from the original contest. Reuters characterized the contest as the "geopolitical and conservative rival to Eurovision." [4]

The winner of the 2025 contest was Vietnam, represented by V-pop artist's Đức Phúc with the song "Phù Đổng Thiên Vương".[5]
