Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 外语教学与研究出版社有限责任公司), also known as Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press or FLTRP (外研社), is a publishing house connected to Beijing Foreign Studies University. It was founded in 1979 and became a limited company in 2010.[1]

FLTRP has 10 branches and 12 independent organizations. It also runs a subsidiary brand called the Beijing Foreign Language Audiovisual Publishing House (北京外语音像出版社), which produces audiovisual materials that go with FLTRP books.[2][3]

FLTRP is China’s largest foreign language and university press. It first focused on language education, but later grew to include many other subjects and fields.[4] The press also offers training programs for teachers and students, both online and offline, and organizes academic conferences and competitions. FLTRP publishes in about 80 languages and works with over 600 international partners.[5]
