Summary
[edit]This is a 1917 image (1 of 8) illustrating the Grapico business operations of J. Grossman's Sons. The image shows workers bottling Grapico. The photographer of this image was Mr. Covert, who was commissioned by the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce to create a pictorial record of the existing industrial, commercial, and civic conditions throughout 1917 New Orleans. Covert numbered the eight J. Grossman's Sons photo's with numbers from the set #1041-1044, 1046-1049, with this photo being numbered as #1041 with Covert's name below the identification number.
