This file is in the public domain in the United States because it was created by numerical weather prediction computers housed by the Environmental Modeling Center, a branch of the United States National Weather Service. The numerical weather prediction models are works prepared by an officer or employee of the United States Government as part of that person’s official duties under the terms of Title 17, Chapter 1, Section 105 of the US Code. This makes them ineligible for copyright. Computer-generated numerical weather prediction model runs are also ineligible for copyright, as a result of the closest human author being an officer or employee of the United States Government.


As such, any "run" or creation of the following numerical weather prediction models is in the public domain:
