English: Infographic showing the sizes, colors, and albedos of the largest (>100 km diameter) centaurs with measured diameters as of 2025, plus a few selected notable centaurs below 100 km. In this graphic, only centaurs that orbit between Jupiter and Neptune (the "classical" definition) are shown. "True" colors and albedos (according to the human eye) are calculated from MBOSS and SMASS color indices and spectra for each centaur using the TrueColorTools software. Elongated centaurs are represented as ellipses with their longest (a) and shortest/polar (c) axes. For elongated centaurs that only have single diameters listed (e.g. Pholus), their minimum elongations (a/b) are calculated from their maximum light curve amplitude (Δm) via the equation (a/b) = 10^(Δm/2.5), and the resulting ellipse is scaled so that its area is equal to that of the single diameter. The rings of Chariklo and Chiron are colored white, but are made transparent according to their opacities (calculated from normal optical depth (τ) via the formula 1-e^(-τ) ) A scale bar is shown at the bottom left.
