The Fall of Nazi Germany, was the total collapse of Nazi Germany during the final months during the European theatre of World War II. The allies had been at war with Germany and its allies for almost 6 years and at this point the war had turned on Germany with the allies advancing in Western and Eastern Europe. (and also Italy) and the soviet encircled Berlin and linked up with the Western Allies. And Adolf Hitler committed suicide. The war would end on 8 May 1945 with the surrender of Nazi Germany.
