Sarah Rumeau, born May 15 1995 in Lannemezan (Hautes-Pyrénées), France, is a rally car driver who participates in WRC2 and the French Rally Championship, having won three championship titles in the latter's women's discipline.
Career
[edit]Rumeau's rally career began in 2017 after winning a FFSA youth rally and in 2020 after winning the Pôle mécanique Alès-Cévennes in the Caterham Cup.[1]
After her successes in 2020 and earlier she would officially enter at the 68th Rallye Sanremo finishing 86th overall.[2] Then she would also enter the French Rally Championship going onto win the women's championship and claiming 13th in the junior discipline with a highest result of 22nd at Rallye d'Antibes-Côte d'Azur.[3][4]
After winning the women's championship the year prior she continued her championship success winning again in 2023. She would also contend in the French 2-wheel drive Championship and the Michelin Trophy, while winning the French Amatuer Cup. She finished a highest of 22nd at Rallye d'Antibes-Côte d'Azur once again.[5]
In 2023 she would participate in ADAC Opel e-Rally Cup, an all electric rally-car championship finishing the season 4th and 1st against the other female participants.[6]

She would then debut in the gravel discipline of the French Rally championship finishing 26th with a highest result of 23rd while in the Gravel 2WD discipline she would finish 7th with one win.[7][8]
After the very successful 2023 season, Rumeau and long-time co-driver Julie Amblard were announced to join the all-female Iron Dames running under Sarrazin Motorsport - Iron Lynx with a Ford Fiesta Rally2 in 2024.[9] She would continue in the French Rally Championship now in the Rally2 category finishing 5th and 6th in the gravel discipline, while winning the women's championship for the third time.[10]
2025 is the debut season for Rumeau and Amblard in WRC2 under the banner of the Iron Dames with a Citroën C3 Rally2.[11]
