Sam Azimzadeh Tabrizi (born 29 October 2002) is a Canadian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or defender for DH Cebu FC in the Philippines Football League.[1][2][3]
Early life and education
[edit]Azimzadeh Tabrizi was born in Canada and later studied at Capilano University in North Vancouver, British Columbia, where he was involved in collegiate sports and academic activities.[4]
Youth and early career
[edit]During his university years, Azimzadeh Tabrizi represented the Capilano University in college soccer competitions between 2021 and 2023.[5] In 2023, he appeared for St. Catharines Roma Wolves in the League1 Ontario competition, marking his early involvement in semi-professional football in Canada.[6]
Club career
[edit]Azimzadeh Tabrizi began his professional career in 2025 with DH Cebu FC in the Philippines Football League.[1][2][3] He was announced as one of Cebu FC’s new signings ahead of the ASEAN Club Championship campaign, where the team prepared to face regional opponents.[3] He has been listed as a versatile player capable of playing in both defensive and midfield roles.[7]
