Comment: The relevant criteria here is WP:NONPROFIT and there is not sufficient coverage, in sufficient depth, of the organisation as a whole to cover that. The AP story is paid-for, so doesn't count, and the AWI link does not work. Unusually, there may be an option for Kukreja to have an article instead, since there is quite a lot of coverage of their work. See WP:BASIC for that. Princia is the largest international student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to tackling light pollution, an environmental issue with adverse effects on human health, wildlife, astronomy, and energy efficiency.[1][2][3]
The organization addresses this issue globally through advocacy to lawmakers, educational resources for schools, innovative technologies, and evidence-based research.[4][5]
Since its founding in Virginia by Rushil Kukreja, Princia has grown to over 260 members on six continents, with its educational outreach reaching more than 700 teachers and 13,000 individuals worldwide.[6][7]
In September 2024, Kukreja spoke about Princia’s mission at the United Nations General Assembly, highlighting its role in the global dark skies movement.[1][7][8] In November 2024, Kukreja received a grant from Cornell University to support the organization's efforts.[6][7] In July 2025, Princia received the Christine Stevens Wildlife Award from the Animal Welfare Institute, a $15,000 grant funding research into the ecological impacts of artificial light.[7][9][10]
