Laopost (also rendered Lao Post) is a Lao news website published at laopost
History
[edit]By 2016, Radio Free Asia credited Laopost for imagery used in its coverage.[4] In March 2024, The Laotian Times reported that Laopost joined the Lao Journalists’ Association as its first private-sector member.[5]
Coverage and citations
[edit]The Lao News Agency (KPL) cited “LaoPost” in reporting on road-safety fines,[1] and Open Development Mekong quoted Laopost in its roundup on dengue fever in Laos.[3] In 2025, The Laotian Times reported on Facebook pages impersonating Lao media, naming Laopost among the targeted outlets.[2]
